Great news! Our Swedish friends Alpaca Sports are finally back in town with a brand new single. It’s more than a year – right after the release of the awesome singles collection Sealed With A Kiss  – that we’re waiting for this moment. Just Like Them is the first track to be taken from Alpaca’s upcoming mini LP When You Need Me The Most, out on October 2nd via Elefant Records and it has everything we expected and love from Andreas, Amanda and Carl: charming indie-pop melodies, (bitter)sweet guy-girl tit-for-tat vocals and compelling refrains.

The song comes along with a funny video directed by Carl himself, which finds Andreas and Amanda being held hostage by a big monkey, with a final surprise. Listen, watch and download Just Like Them for free below.

The album was ultimately recorded and produced by Ian Catt (Trembling Blue Stars, Saint Etienne) in London, and the artwork is, once again, straight from Japan by amazing illustrator Ray Kimura. It can be pre-ordered on limited edition blue 10″ vinyl from Elefant website or digitally through Elefant bandcamp page. Luxury Records are also releasing a CD version, available from their bandcamp page.
