Song of the Week: “Los Amantes” by Ana D. I am back in Spain, heading from Barcelona to Valladolid today, and tomorrow will be drive through San Sebastian en route to Toulouse. Ana D’s album is a quiet gem, recorded in 1997 with Ibon Errazkin (of LeMans, who hail from San Sebastian) and Javier Corcobado. It was another fun night at the Apolo in Barcelona, hanging out with my old friend Ignacio Julia. “How many more years can we do this?” he asked and I don’t have a good answer.
