Song: Los Chicos Hoy Saltarán A La Pista (LA CASA AZUL)

It took many months of work but we can finally announce, with much joy and satisfaction, the release of “L-FUN 45 (Summer of love)”, the first independent musical videogame for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, a fun application that will get all of the label’s fans excited. The videogame is full of the Elefant universe and our groups. It was created and developed by Dolores Entertainment, a young and promising company that develops mobile phone applications and videogames, and that shares Elefant’s spirit of independent work and passion for music. Dolores Entertainment, who recently celebrated their first anniversary as a company, started their voyage with more classic-styled games with a more direct dynamic, like “Vectron” or “Spanish Chiringuito”. Now, they are official providers for TV3 and they are working on some different, very interesting projects that we’ll be hearing about soon, but L-FUN 45 is their most ambitious project so far.

L-FUN 45 is an interactive musical, a game where the music isn’t just an excuse to smash buttons, but instead it tells us a love story. 01] Spatial EditionThis edition has been ornately designed with the most advanced materials and the most revolutionary technology available on planet Earth. It is made of high density anodised dissolved aluminium, ultra-resistant and ultra-dynamic. This sound system is compatible with all stereos develops in the terrestrial solar system and other systems known outside of space- including the brand-new 4300 XRT multisensory system of Orbit Entertainment Ltd. It can be transported beyond the limits of the atmosphere and support speeds up to 4,000 km/second without the risk of disintegration or data corruption.

Only 10,000 copies of this special limited edition will be produced and it will be the first to go on sale.

The last night in 2011 programmed for Elefant Club will be on December 3rd, with performances by FITNESS FOREVER and PAPA TOPO, culminating the evening with these same artists as guest DJs, along with Luis Elefant. It will be a new chance to see Carlos Valderrama’s group after the marvelous summer hit single, “Con Fitness Forever En La Playa,” and the captivating performance in this year’s Lemon Pop Festival. We must not forget to mention the charming participation of two national icons which leave rivers of admiration behind them: Adrià and Paulita. The complete renovation of the mythical venue Siroco is big news. The venue is located on San Dimas, 3 in the legendary quarter of Malasaña in Madrid, an area which has always been a symbol and reflection of the music scene in the capital city. We are ecstatic to announce that in October, Elefant Club will be born inside of this distinguished environment. The first Saturday of each month we are organizing special nights where we can enjoy live acts and special guest DJs with set-lists filled with various pop gems, starting at 9:30 p.m. and ending at 3:00 a.m.

The inauguration will take place on October 1st with live acts from the Welsh group, THE SCHOOL, the duet from Madrid, BAND À PART. THE SCHOOL has been recording their new album this past summer and we are sure they are going to present a promising set with the inclusion of these new songs from their second album, along with some of their hits from their last album, “Loveless Unbeliever.” BAND À PART has been one of the best groups to come out of the Contempopránea Festival this year and their performance at the Indietrack Festival in England was an event in itself. “Todas tus amigas” is the advance single from "La Polinesia Meridional", the imminent new album by LA CASA AZUL that will be released in 2011. The song has become an instant classic in the repertoire of one of the most loved and respected artists of the independent international scene. Since we announced the surprise release of the new single there has been so much excitement and so many expectations, and so many people dying to hear something new by LA CASA AZUL that it produced total craziness online just a few hours after the video became available on the most important digital platforms. It didn’t take long for “Todas tus amigas” to reach the number one spot on the iTunes digital sales list, nor for all the music blogs to make news of the release of Guille Milkyway’s new song. The movement that the news generated on the social networks (Twitter, Facebook…) was absolutely amazing, not to mention the fact that the fans and followers of LA CASA AZUL were thrilled with this little taste of the new album.

In 2011 a new adventure will begin for LA CASA AZUL, the most exciting and unexpected adventure, the most hoped-for adventure, an adventure full of fantasies that will transport us to LA CASA AZUL’s new universe. We didn’t want to say good-bye to this year without offering the first few clues about this new adventure-release, which will be called "La Polinesia Meridional", to all of the group’s fans. LA CASA AZUL’s new album is practically finished and what we’re giving you right now are the first brush-strokes of what is going to be a spectacular painting, a self-portrait of the world that surrounds Guille Milkyway, a perfect reflection of all our lives, with our fears and joys, our best and worst moments, but always with that optimism that is imprinted on the songs of one the musical projects that most enflames our fantasies and evasions through music.
